I started Story Bees while on a sabbatical from my job as a TV producer. It was so incredible, watching children engage so positively with stories, that my sabbatical turned into Story Bees and here we are, still sharing stories.

Over the years, I have met children of various age groups and with varying interests. It has been a pleasure to have them in my sessions which some of them have quite uniquely nicknamed `Story Room’ or `Popcorn Class’.

I have had the privilege to watch them and their stories grow together.  My first little reader, who came to me at six years, continued to read with me until she went off college!

We have been online since April, 2020, and what has been lovely is that being online has enabled children from all over India to join our sessions. As we continue online,  I look forward to welcoming more children to Story Bees.
